Self Portrait, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7
Self Portrait is a series of artworks as paintings by artist Matthew Roy Arnold exhibited in the Work show 2011. The paintings were produced by six individual painters asked by the artist to paint a self portrait and not to sign the work. The only restrictions specified were of size and medium. The outcome is six individual paintings reflecting the painter’s styles and technical ability. Matthew then signs and names the work after the next number in line.
When a painting is sold a new painting is made by a different painter.
